  • Place the debugger keyword in your code to act as a breakpoint.

This method allows for rudimentary command-line debugging. Alternatively, one can pair it with tools like Chrome DevTools for a more visually rich debugging interface.

  • Launch with the --inspect or --inspect-brk flags. By default, Node.js listens for debugging commands on port 9229.
